Happy Birthday Mr. Dutton! I always consider his character as one of the toughest in the series. He played the role brilliantly.

Yeah, Dutton was great. I love his big motivational speech to get the others psyched to basically throw themselves to the Alien. It manages to stay just the right side of cheese.

The "quick, easy and painless" line is good too. You really believe he'd gladly do it when the time comes. One of the reasons I'm glad they cut the original ending where he wimps out of killing Ripley.

^ That ending would have brutally injured his rep for sure. I would have enjoyed seeing the Alien coming back out of the lead and pulling him in tho.

Indeed, it's Resurrection. The set gives it away too. Though I can see why you'd think that. It doesn't look as brown as she does later on in the film.
