These things degrade unfortunately. The Alien suit has looked better too - not terrible though.  I really want to go see that in person though.

Yeah, I've seen that. (Not in person, photos.) The head still looks OK but the body suit is really tatty.

That's the trouble with rubber and latex, pretty much everything makes them fall apart.
