Never liked the aging theory myself because Kane's Son was supposed to have reached it's full life span and was on the wane in the Narcissus. Plus there's no way I can look at Giger's alien and consider it immature compared to the Aliens allens.

Why not? Even O'Bannon called it a child.
In terms of age or learning/education,or both?

Both. He called it savage and ignorant.

O'Bannon's version, the Alien had a steep learning curve aboard Nostromo, and didn't make it to a higher education following it's naturally violent early years.Scott's version the Alien reaches the end of it's life cycle and is in decline.Which to choose?I prefer Scott's version over O'Bannon's finger painting artist the Alien could have become.

And all things considered - neither is correct.

To be honest, I find the idea of it being an infant all the more terrifying. Imagine if a child had that kind of destructive power?

Depends on the execution. Ultimately, 'Alien Resurrection' was even more in-your-face with that concept, as regards the Newborn. Not many people liked how that was done, though.

A bit hard to comprehend visually at first but very very cool.

Yeah, took me a second or two to work out what's going on in the middle, but very nice.

Wouldn't mind seeing the same for the other films actually.

You can tell it's from DA by the blatant hamfisted overuse of the skull.

My first thought was - skull is way too visible.
