Never liked the aging theory myself because Kane's Son was supposed to have reached it's full life span and was on the wane in the Narcissus. Plus there's no way I can look at Giger's alien and consider it immature compared to the Aliens allens.

Why not? Even O'Bannon called it a child.

Both. He called it savage and ignorant.

O'Bannon's version,the Alien had a steep learning curve aboard Nostromo,and didn't make it to a higher education following it's naturally violent early years.Scott's version the Alien reaches the end of it's life cycle and is in decline.Which to choose?I prefer Scott's version over O'Bannon's finger painting artist the Alien could have become.

To be honest, I find the idea of it being an infant all the more terrifying. Imagine if a child had that kind of destructive power?

Depends on the execution. Ultimately, 'Alien Resurrection' was even more in-your-face with that concept, as regards the Newborn. Not many people liked how that was done, though.
