Yeah, and the whole concept of superqueen mother and guards (which also had terrible, cricket-like designs)

That Matriarch/Empress looks badass, like its carved out of bone.

They weren't really red.  They just had one team red in Genocide so the reader could tell them apart.

They weren't really red.  They just had one team red in Genocide so the reader could tell them apart.

And that one team had red exoskeletons.  The comic made it very clear that it was not just a new alien phenotype, but practically a new species of alien.  That's why they couldn't coexist.
