The stand-alone one, right, not the one where it was paired with Salvation? I only read through that version once and couldn't remember seeing it. I thought it looked too ... "clean" compared to how I remember the rest of the art in that comic.

Thats true. First time I saw it posted somewhere else I thought those are official designs for an upcoming AVP Game or something. But fanart posted online is usually done with computers, and that illustration is clearly not a computer job

This reminds me of the opening scene in the Alien 3 novelization with Newt sleeping peacefully in her cryotube unaware of the facehugger just outside trying to open the tube for its lethal purpose.

Really earned it's place here... it truly is one of my favorite pieces of Alien art. Nails my favorite things about the terror it causes, and having the man the cryotube is the perfect claustrophobic way to express it.
