Would've been neat if we'd seen it disintegrate like this in the movie. They were in the territory with the rusting, but this would be something else entirely.

Don't know if anybody has seen this, but here is a maquete (I think) of the alien from Alien cubed, shortly after Giger left.

Giger teamed up with an associate to do some sculpts of ideas he had; I think that's one of them. ADI never did anything so interesting.

I thought it was ADI based on the fact there is nothing biomechanical about it at all.
