Great pictures StrangeShape. Queen looks so small in the last one I guess the Revo figure is more accurate in size ratio now.

Well in the movie we dont see a clear comparison, but if you watch Ripley in the powerloader next to her in the same shot its pretty much the same scale.What gives me a chucnkle tho is how much bigger the AVP Queen is. Look at the size comparison to a human

I always assumed the Queen in Aliens is only several weeks old. The Queen in AvP would have been much older. Who knows how much more they grow during thier life span. I mean they go from Chestburster to full grown in a matter of hours. In AvP2010 game '6' went from Praetorian to Queen and was still considerably smaller than the Ancient Queen, soo.....

I always assumed the Queen in Aliens is only several weeks old. The Queen in AvP would have been much older.

That's what I always thought too. Put in also that the AvP Aliens are surely of a different species of Alien.

This of course works as an explanation, but takes away from real life. From what I know, the Queen of Aliens was roughly as many times bigger as an adult warrior as insectal queens from workers/drones in real nature

Nice! Just when I thought all existing pics of warriors and queen are already posted on JCO boards you post this. Btw you can tell how the scale isnt so clear when theyre far away, how the Queen looks bigger

I dont know now. Seeing a man next to the Queen makes me think this might actually be an accurate ratio
