True. Just in that picture I quoted, the right arm in particular looks super long.

Yeah, it's strange lookin'. I snapped that from one of the outtakes in the Superior Firepower documentary, I think. Richard Landon does mention that they'd try to put the puppets into weird, inhuman poses before blowing the hell ot of 'em.

Still more convincing than any Alien shot in AvPR.

Probably because of its position and the angle which makes it look like the hand is still an extension of the arm
