I haven't really been actually into this movie for some time but thanks to just the overall tone and cinematography of that speech, coupled with one of my favorite actors, im blown away...

Bat Chain has to stop in to refresh his love affair with the entire site.

Brilliant observation, my man.

You whore, you.  I'm going to remember when you finally slip up and say the wrong thing.  Oh yes.

Hey Money.  Welcome to the rest of the forum outside of TDKR thread, lol.

Brilliant observation, my man.

I'm sure I can't be the first. It's really been obvious since the title was released. But hearing his Guy's words coming at me through those speakers through that John Hurt filter of a voice ... it just clicked. So many windows just aligned. And I ... I geeked. I lost it.

This. This is how you start a viral marketing campaign. ARRG THIS IS SO AWESOME! You get to instantly know what Peter Weyland is like in one scene, and that this is indeed part of the Alien universe.

Guy Pearce did a spot on impression of John Hurt's dialect and inflections.

He also does a spot on, neutral American accent.  He is a dialect chameleon.

Incidentally...and I don't see it mentioned so far, Guy Pearce's normal accent is a very pronounced South-Eastern Australian (Melbourne).

Well, I would guess that you can tell the difference between a person from Melbourne and a person from Perth...yes???

I mean, I am from Western Massachussetts (Springfield), but our accent is TOTALLY different from people who grew up in Boston, which is only 90 miles (145 kilometers) apart.
