The contractor seems to think Aug 5th is the best time to come and sort out the fuse on the wall for my Fridge Freezer WTF, A week an a half away just for a 5 minute job?

Also it seems that the person in Flat 1 has done a bunk, so thats why they havent answered the lettings agents FFS

We had four days of nice weather though, in the middle of July which never happens.  We don't usually get an actual break in the heat until mid september.

Last few days have been nice here, about 22c/71f, sunny and no wind. A gap in the winter bullshit to help me get over this flu.

But this is the UNhappy thread so I will repeat the having the flu part.

Today it's around 26c here, which means it's 29c in my flat roof apartment. Still hot but at least it's not 37c like yesterday.

Temperatures between 20-25c are perfect. Everything hotter than that and my house feels like it's on fire.
