Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004) and Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (2008)
Not as fun as they used to be but still pretty entertaining.

I actually enjoyed the Christmas entry, much more than the second film.

A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas (2011)
Not bad but the weakest in the series imo.

It's not a bad movie but more of a standard Christmas movie than another Harold & Kumar.
Part 2 has a lot of more memorable moments and lines.

The Proposition (2005)

I liked it. Different but not too full of itself.

The Lighthouse

1.19:1 aspect ratio!

Macabre. Crazy. Enjoyable. Superbly written, shot and acted.
That said I preferred Eggers' The Witch more.

That was a great movie. Very dark but felt like it was ripped right off the pages of old folklore which I loved.

Frailty (2001)
Great movie with an excellent Paxton and McConaughey.

Hiding Out (1987)
"Jon Cryer pretending to be a high school student in order to hide out from the mob."
Nice average 80's high school flick.

Punisher: War Zone (2008)
Best Punisher adaptation imo.

f**king love that one. One of the few action movies from this side of the millennium that feels legitimately oldschool. Disappointed it never got the mooted sequel.

The bit where he punches through a man's face

My son who usually hates most films and is right into weird obscure Anime recommended it to me ... now when he says it's one of the best films he's seen in years then I have to take notice.

How bloody good were Dafoe and Patto.

Those were my favorite performances of theirs, hands down! I felt the dread in that movie. Definitely looking forward to seeing what the director has next in store.
