I love TOD, it was like the first movie but it has more of a adventure to it and has a lot of classic moments. The one thing i did not like about Crusade it had too much comedy and the character development need to be a bit better. Beside that it a great movie.

Why did everyone thought TOD was so bad?

I remember walking out of the cinema at the end and thinking it was WAY better than Raiders.  Just the roller coaster ride (literally) from when Willie is almost lowered into the lava pit to Indy and Mola Ram on the bridge, never let up.

Over time though I think Raiders is more polished.  Doom isn't a bad flick in the slightest, it just has two other films in a trilogy that are better.

I'm surprised to see Raiders rated lower than the sequels by some people.  That film is as good as an Indy adventure can get, man. 


But on the other hand, I'm one of the few people I know that rates Temple slightly higher than Crusade.   --   GASP!

On the new DVD coming out next year, they have the Arab swordsman pull a gun and shoot first.  It's much better that Indy will kill him only in self-defense.
