Funny. I thought you would have done the eye crushing thing for Blade Runner there.

But I never found it gripping like most slow-paced Westerns tend to be.

RDR just seemed to trudge along.

First EON which was generally very well recieved and now RDR. Damn your a hard man to please gaming wise  :D

Joss Whedon.
Whislt I won't deny his talent at fixing scripts which he is pretty good at and he can write a decent female character.
I just find him uninspired and heavy handed ( I mean firefly is a western set in space literally) and his pop culture references can be extremely tiring and overwrought, and I hate that its never his fault for anything for example he blames Jean-Pierre Jeunet for Alien Resurrections failings.

District 9 is overrated, it's good but i notice a lot of people have it in their top 10 SF movies of all time. it's good but it's not THAT good.

Yes it is. It was unique and a fresh take on an old story.

sure, but it's plagued with pacing issues,

like i said, it's really good, definatley in my "Top 10 SF Movies '00-'09" but it's just not "Top 10 SF Movies of ALL TIME" good

TheMonolith

I would say D9 was the best science fiction film of that particular year. Far superior to Avatar.
It is one of the greatest and deserves a spot at the very least in the top 50.
Maybe not so high up the list is what AvatarIII is saying.

i guess you didn't see Moon :P

TheMonolith

I didn't know Moon was the same year.  ;)
Haven't seen it yet but I am working my way up to it.
That trailer had me in awe.

Space Sweeper

I would have told you not to watch the trailer, but I guess it's too late for that.  :-\

TheMonolith

It didn't give anything away. Plus it was a while ago so I forgot most of it.
Computer frowny face is all i really remember from it.
All I know is I liked what I saw.
