Well,
I have a good feeling that she lays them in intervals.
It may also have to do with the amount of hosts in a given environment.
For all we know it could be monthly as if a menstrual cycle. Every 28 days she could lay several Queen eggs.
The rest of the time it would be regular eggs.
Just a theory, no real way to know for sure.
Any way you cut it, new Queen eggs would be made by her at some point.
I have a feeling that during her lifetime she makes multiple eggs, just like other Queen species.
No sense having only one Queen lay all the eggs for an entire planet.
For that you need multiple Queens and hives, that is one of the reasons I figure she lays them periodically, but less often that normal eggs.
