ALIEN Statue From John's Collectibles

Greetings all 

One of the things I enjoy is thumbing through old magazines for ALIEN articles and Items.

This is from the August 1997 Cinescape Magazine. I remember John's Collectibles and know someone who used to buy from him. Next time I see him I will check if he has any old catalogues. I called the phone number,looked online (including eBay) to see if he's still out there somewhere.

I don't recognize this statue and wondered if anyone on here had one or know of it?

Thanks for your post and research. I don't think it is the same person. He had an online business for many years. Specializing in science fiction & horror items.

Your John looks to be a modeler / sculptor. A talented one too. 

The statue in the ad has a spoof look to me. The way head and the base have that caricature look to it. Maybe a small company that manufactured them. Unlicensed of course. That he offered for sale. Somewhere in basement,garage or attic one of these figures is waiting to be found.
