I'm not surprise that this is happening since online gaming with consoles pretty much took over since 2006. I think that I might have the PS4 be my main console since I do like to play offline when I'm at the beach during a rainy day.

I think its something for the US only. You sign a subscription like for your mobile operator and you pay monthly for it, thats why the console is so "cheap".

Interesting developments, Ive only had ps1 and 2, then had xbox and 360.... If they go this route Ill probably go PS4. Forcing a consumer to have no options just alienates the consumer. Dont care what games are coming out.
