What a powerful movie

Have you seen the extended fan edit? It adds all the missing pieces back in, and I think it's better than the original.

I watched it with my mother. It was already bad enough (she wanted to know if director was mentally sane after we finished) and I don't think she would've endured extra hour of Lynch weirdness. Also, I'm kinda busy catching up with Season 3 of the show. But I have that edit saved on my laptop and will eventually get around to watching it

I don't know if I'd ever want to watch the extra stuff edited back into the film - but as a standalone viewing, after Fire Walk With Me and before The Return, The Missing Pieces is a must.

Decent enough film. Massive plot hole at the beginning, though. Nothing was ever going to match up to the first, though.

Stupid but fun, the teenagers were pointless and could have been left out.

Interesting story with a great performance by Cage, but I really don't get the way restaurant suppliers are portrayed like some sort of mafia operation.
