how many time woukd nostromo take to get back to earth???

ok...i wana calculate what velocity does the nostormo travel at, i rememebr in the movie someone (i think lambert) said how mnay moths were left to reach earth...

seems like it is 39.5 light years from earth....

with this data i can calculate the velocity of the nostromo

velocity=distance/time

so i need more info on the time to complete the equation

can assure it is faster than light speed....wich is incorrect for reasons discussed previously in pred lifespan topic (i think)

now if 1 light year is 9460528400000000 meters
0.12 light years are...1135263408000000 meters

a day is 24 hours....a hour is 3600 secs...
so....a day are 86400 secs

the speed of nostromo was ... 13139622777,8  m/s

300000000 m/s is the speed of light so nostromo was goin at....43.8 times the light speed....more or less

I know this is a bit off topic, but it's sort of similar and I didn't want to open a new thread for no reason.  Does anyone know exactly how long the Nostromo would've been in space, had they not been awakened by the Alien and all that stuff>
