The name's "BrokeNCYDE".

Called by the critics "Slipknot meets Cher" and "the perfect picture of all the crap youth is fed on today", its genre is "Clunkcore", that's basically a mix between Emo, Hardcore, incorporating (terrible) elements of Hip-Hop, Dance, Electronic and Screamo.

Basically, a senseless aberration, both in conception and performance:

My opinion: It sounds like my failed alcoholic Junior High students decided to do what they consider "cool music"!

And believe it or not, their debut album reached #86 on sales on the Billboard list.

I don't think it takes much to get to #86 on the charts.

This review from the NME was amusing though - "even if I caught Prince Harry and Gary Glitter adorned in Nazi regalia defecating through my grandmother's letterbox I would still consider making them listen to anything but this album too severe a punishment".

24 seconds.

I'm seeing some friends tonight. I should turn this into an endurance test. Person who holds out the longest gets a free bottle of their favourite alcohol.

These f**kers are still around I remember hearing this shit in 2007

I think they were classified as "crunk-core"

Sounds like a rejected music track from "Children of Men".

I found this description more accurate:

Quote"the best worst best worst no way this is real but oh my god how could it not be bizarro-world where a band has formed with a get rich quick scheme/unholy trinity combining nu-rave with screamo and qua rapping with vocoder into a single song that is like a deadly vortex of everything that has existed in non-country pop music in the last 18 months and then mixed in some heinous sub-Cobrasnake-skank vibes and filmed it."
