Man, that was one HELL of a thought you had there, to go and check that information. I mean, in my head cannon it most CERTAINLY is lol.
On a somewhat deeper note, this continues to add to my belief that Predator 2 is, at heart, an 'LA' movie. Sure, one could argue that it's mostly set dressing, but regardless, I for one think it adds to the movie's feel, of it being just this snapshot of a crazy time in that city's history.
