I'm a bit of a Gladiator nerd as I did a lot of research on them. OK, in Spartacus, the violence is really comic book, but the kit they use is surprisingly accurate. They had some balls to put the Murmilllo and Thracian in their actual helmets, thus obscuring the two leads (OK, we have "in-helmet cam" and they lose the helmets at the earliest opportunity, but still, kudos for that.

I really love the faux Shakespearean language they use - I've just finished Season One - I've not seen the rest before, so looking forward to it.

Yeah, someone once decided ancient Romans spoke old English and I guess it stuck.

Rest of the series is pretty great except those last episodes are a bit "sad".

I'm on to season 2 now... have to say that Liam McIntyre is a weaker Spartacus than Andy Whitfield. That said, the guy had huge sandals to fill - Andy was awesome.

Holy crap. That went bats**t crazy and awesome. Bring on Season 3

Occupied Season 2 Episodes 1-2
Ive waited for this to return for so long and it was worth it

Law and Order: Special Victims Unit Season 1 Episodes 17-22
Closer to the show as it is now. They found their feet quickly

Agents Of Shield Season 5 Episode 22
If they hadn't renewed this it would have been a perfect ending. But also glad they did renew it

Think I read somewhere that it's from the same writer as Father Ted and Black Books. Seen those?

Gordon Ramsey 24 Hours to Hell and Back Episode 1
An interesting spin on Kitchen Nightmare's
I always liked Restaurant Impossible with Robert Irvine, he was a real eye opener for many places.

Halfway into Season 5 in my Lost rewatch (well I only originally got up about halfway into Season 3 when it was originally on air) and I'm loving it. Getting closer and closer to the end. It's a shame a lot of these actors never broke out into film or had another tentpole show. Naveen Andrews (Sayid) and Matthew Fox (Jack) should have done so much more.

Father Ted is brilliant, three priests exiled to an island who have no right being apart of the church
