That's it, the first season of American Horror Story is over.  I thought it was pretty solid. A nice collection of deeply flawed characters in a psychosexual charged ghost tale. The last episode almost took on a dark comedic tone, not that I didn't mind that.

Yes, I've heard good things about that. I tried watching Elementary a new Sherlock Holmes show they have going on here and couldn't get into it.

But Sherlock is definitely on the list.

Well, after hearing so much praise about this show, decided to check it out. Absolutely loving it so far. Great espionage television.

Reading you guys talking about it, I checked out the trailer for Elementary and it looks like it's trying to be way too clever for its own good. It might have been more interesting if they had discarded the direct Holmes connection entirely and let it have an identity of its own. To some extent, similar to what House M.D did.
