^ agreed. in reference to the fairly recent waves of predators, i think the paint application is already fantastic for a mass-release figure of this scale. the unmasked city hunter is an exception, though

  Same is happening in my country, the elder and the series 1 classic predator are so expensive now, glad i have both of them... and yeah i love the elder too, despite of his horrible paint app.

series 1 'open mouth' version is available and relatively cheap.
to me, Elder is very nice. I see a lot of complaints on lousy paint jobs, could it be QA issue?

I think my biggest "complaints" about the Predator/Predator2 figures are that I wish the wristblades fully retracted (like they could on the AvPR Wolf figure) and that the self-destruct panel on the left gauntlet could open (like it could on the McF Predators).

Not dealbreakers by any means, though.

the Wolf wristblades are fully retractable because they go inside the arm, because of that the figure does not have elbow articulation, if you want that kind of wristblades in the new series Neca would have to sacrifice the elbow joint.. Atleast the right arm one...
