Yeah, I hate Gearbox for what they did as much as anyone, but there's no denying Borderlands is a great game. Was honestly kinda disappointed by Borderlands 2, though. It felt like little more than a tired retread. By comparison The Pre-Sequel feels like a far better follow-up.

I agree that it is a great series and the Telltale adventure games are even better. I have the reverse opinion about Borderlands 2 and the Pre-Sequel. Thought the Pre-Sequel was a bit half-assed and possibly developed by another company?

Borderlands was okay, I didn't think it was all that great if I wasn't playing with my gang. Borderlands 2 was fun but too meme-y and lost me half-way through, and I never touched Pre-Sequel after the Colonial Marines calamity. 

I was thinking about getting the Handsome Jack collection or whatever they called it on PS4 now that it's cheap, but it doesn't come with the first one which sucks because I loved the DLC for that game

That's the only reason I picked up 2 and Pre-Sequel; like you, I avoided them for a long time after ACM. But the collection was on offer with PS Plus, pretty sure I only paid about 6 quid for it.

Borderlands Triple Pack for ps3 has all 3 games and complete dlc for all on the disc. Got mine last year brand new off ebay for $20. Money well spent. Got months of fun out of it.

Starcraft 2 currently has a "8-year Anniversary" event with new achivements, XP bonuses and visual flair, so playing that for a while.
