It does!!!

And how do I love this log scene..

It's amazing how well made it is, that a 1933 black & white fx robust film can be still so entertaining.

Stop motion is all about patience.
A lost art in movie and tv show production these days.

I grew up on Stop Motion.
Jason and the Argonauts
Empire Strikes Back (Hoth battle scene)
The original King Kong
Rankin Bass' Christmas specials

You're right. It's a lost art though Aardman, Wes Anderson and the mob behind the Kubo & the 2 Strings film are keeping it alive.

The way King Kong did it though makes it wonderful. Combining all these techniques. The rear projection. The front projection. It's not just stop-motion! Those are real people on that log!

Netflix, too. Next year they will be releasing Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio and Henry Selick/Jordan Peele's Wendell & Wild.

First film I saw at the cinema. My brother took me - I was about 5 or 6 years old. The monkey men scared the crap outta me. The ending I was like `eh'?

True story.

Almost. I just wrapped up a nice bonfire.

The Nines

This was quite the interesting surprise. Ryan Reynolds and Melissa McCarthy (yes, really) were both quite good, and the ultimate twist is relatively unpredictable and gets you thinking.

Only God Forgives
Another film I'd been wanting to watch for awhile and was nothing like i expected from the trailers. This was if David Lynch wrote a script for a
crime drama and asked Dario Argento to direct it. Then he got Argento fired halfway through so he could finish it, but kept Argento's
stuff
