Predator

It's been a while. Somehow I always manage to forget how long the movie still has to go once it's down to just Arnie.

The Holdovers

This was pretty great. The latest masterpiece from the writer of Jurassic Park 3.  ;)

Nomads

I don't think it quite lives up to its potential, and Pierce Brosnan doing a French accent is unintentional comedy gold, but this was an intriguing little debut from John McTiernan.

Satanic Hispanics.

Fun anthology flick, it was a good time.

Medicine Man

Aggressively mediocre film, and Lorraine Bracco is wretched in it.

The Thomas Crown Affair (1999)

Pretty damn good.

Rollerball (2002)

f**king sucked up until about the last ten minutes when it got semi-interesting, but that is so not worth sitting through the rest of this dreck. Also weird that of all movies this is the one where

Spoiler
LL Cool J actually dies.

and the whole sequence filmed in Night Vision lol

Darkman
Sam Raimi and Liam Neeson is a terrific combination

The Shamer's Daughter
bought this cheap and actually expected some cheap, cheesy low budget fantasy film to pass the time. What i got was a Nordic Fantasy film based off a YA series and i really really enjoyed it

Thanksgiving
Only need two more of the Grindhouse trailers to be turned into films to complete the set. Some fantastic gory kills, while others were oddly bloodless or over too quickly. And that opening. Holy Crap

Shaolin Soccer (English Dub and Original Cantonese Versions)
A fun film and surprisingly the English Dub is surprisingly faithful to the original, though i do prefer the original as it allows the story to breathe more and makes a couple of reasons for things happening clearer

Lol apparently that was a reshoot and they had no time to grade it properly.

Also the cartoon sound effects in that scene.

Night of the Hunted (2023)

Currently watching it. More of a thriller than a horror, despite being on Shudder, but it's pretty good so far. One of those films like Phone Booth with a sniper stalking someone, this time at a petrol station.

Total Recall.

One of Arnie's best. Great special effects.

Got the chance to see that on the big screen a few years back, and it looked incredible.

No one will save you.
Fantastic, tense and creepy....

...until that 3rd act where it really lets itself down. That ending is whack.
