Wouldn't say it's that. 90s art work could really be excellent at times, see: Mark Texeira and Javier Saltares on their Ghost Rider Vol. 2 run.

Yup, I've seen that. Really liked his work on Superman, not sure his style will fit Batman though. Can't say I have really high hopes for this either, but I'll be sure to check it out once it's released anyhow. :)
