Why would the Russians give them this technology? Jesus.

Not just the technology but the training as well. It's a very complex weapons system which requires highly trained personnel to operate it.

Are we sure this one was shot down or is it just missing again?

If anything, I believe it was shot down:

Also, it's not missing as there's images of the plane wreckage, dead bodies, and apparently people stealing from the wreckage.

I was only messing with you Shadow. Malaysian airplanes have had a shitty year; one goes missing and still hasn't been found, and now one's been shot down.

So Russia taught Ukraine how to use this equipment?

Hmmm.

Not to mention the telltale exhaust of S-A missle(s).

Hmmm.

Pro-Russians, assuming Russia wasn't directly responsible.

They would have to be military though, right?

So does Russia have military personnel in Ukraine or was it Ukrainian soldiers (acting for the Ukrainian Government or who are part of the pro-Russian 'rebels')?

Now reports are coming in that the separatists might be trying to take the blame because the missiles might have actually been fired by Russia.

Russia more than likely has mercs acting as pro-russian rebels with the training they need to do such and such, but that's just my cynical side coming through, not even taking into account other things this could be.

Just read that NBC was talking to a miner that lives about 3 miles away, I guess from the crash or whatever, and he heard something that felt like a ground launch, saw a smoke trail, and then heard a loud BOOM.

It was either rebels or the Russians themselves.

Oh, damn. RT is just reporting that a source from Russia has told them that apparently Putin's plane, was in fact the intended target since it was supposed to cross the same flight path around 40 or so minutes later when the other plane would have (before it got shot down).

Is RT 'Russian Television'?

That really conflicts with that Russian commander apparently saying "We warned - do not fly in our skies" though.
