I sometimes curious as to how many could have "parent issues".
I have 'disagreements' with my parents but I still love them.
At some point in my life I realized that no one lives forever. So I believe it's better for me to be lovingly faithful whenever possible than to wait till it's 'too late' over differences and forever live with regret and maybe even shame or disgrace.
I have so much to be grateful for, so many memories, they sacrificed so much for me, so many reasons to remain faithful and strong, we as a family have suffered defeats but we have so many more triumphs! I even take pride in my last name, "Hammond", which is of Old German origin and means "Home Protector".
Throughout my life I've been taught something, family.
