Whenever I draw I seem to get annoyed when people get behind me or next to me and start looking at my drawings before I finish them, I'd like to say "do you mind" but my immense kindness (more like cowardly nature) keep me from doing so.

I get that too.  People like watching people draw.

Its even worse with writing, as my first few drafts usually suck very hard but people want to read them.

I'm say no.

I know how that feels.  When people come over to watch me draw and then start asking questions (even worse), I feel like they're encroaching on my privacy.  Even though, what they're doing is rude and invasive, when you tell them that it makes you uncomfortable, you're led to believe that you're being rude and should be more social.

I know you probably aren't serious, but I think its the opposite! When we're all faceless it makes it easier to speak our thoughts.

Agreed.  I don't hate it to extreme amounts, in fact, I can't recall getting angry about it, but I feel incredibly stupid explaining to them what it is that I am drawing.

I seem to miss all the drama on any social network site.  If I want to find drama, I have to go to ED and read about it.
