The Brothers have mentioned before that they started just started calling her Chet after the big monster billpaxton becomes in wierd science. There's nothing more to it. They probably have a fond memory of that film. It's just a big creature in a comedy that they like (that is also ugly) and so they started calling her Chet as a joke.

Wolf is named after the character in Pulp Fiction because his function in the story is exactly the same as Tarantino's character: He removes any evidence of death/existence of his target.
