Well... that pool party was... different from my expectations. You know that episode of Friendship is Magic when Applejack is at the garden party and her expectations were to be
literally gardening? It was pretty much like that.
There may have been a pool at the pool party... but there was no swimming...
It was basically just being surrounded by people, the majority of them adults rich and wealthy in appearance, and just talking with some food in the centre, that's all it was. I was expecting for there to be a bunch of young people around my age partying. I mostly just kept to myself and ate some food.
If there is a bright side it is that I wished my aunt a happy birthday in person, enjoyed her cake and the cookie she gave me, celebrated the fact she's a survivor of cancer, and had some conversation.
That said, that party was so far from my expectations... and when I got home I went straight to bed, and when I woke up I decided to help out my party soul by blasting this.
