My main gripe with the game wasn't the ending, it was spending all the time running around and developing characters in the second game that you only got to use, or not use, for a handful of minutes the entire third game.  I know they did the same with Ashley and Lliara in the second, but those characters got to come back for the finale.

Jack, Legion, Miranda, Samara and yes Jacob (man is the only human professional aside from shepard) I used quite a bit for their powers/and or dialogue insights into the game.

I know exactly what you mean. The only squadmate from 2 that I felt was properly handled and concluded was Mordin. Legion was handled pretty well as well. Would've loved more from those characters; I loved them all.

Mordin and Legion were really the only 2 that had proper conclusions to their stories.

And Conrad. Although he can apparently actually die if you didn't do Jenna's mission in ME1.

And, Garrus is my favorite, but since his love has no shortage, I choose to express my love for Thane more....Well, I guess they're tied.....Nah, f**k it, Thane is better.

I was thinking about something at work today. If the script was leaked during the beta, why didn't we know that the ending was going to be so controversial? Did they change it because of the leak?
