"Reply to Posts" help

When I click "Show new replies...", how do I stop a certain or multiple thread or threads from showing up there anymore?

Read all those posts.    no, it's a setting in the forum software, it shows all recent posts to topics you've rpelied to at one point in time while on this forum. You can't do much about it, except reply, or read them, or what I do: IGNORE the ones you don't want to continue discussing.

I understand what it does. 
I'm just tired of seeing a few threads that I don't want to "contribute" to anymore.  Oh well, I guess I'll suck it up and move on.  Thanks anyway, Chris.

I know exactly what you mean man, No way around it as far as I know.

What I do Is just open it in a new TAB and then close it. If you check the site regularly you only have to do it to a couple of threads.
