Well let's say we gave unmoddable copies of Skyrim to, say, 20 intelligent people. What would that do?

I was completely and utterly addicted to Skyrim for months on end without any silly upgrades.

They would get a PC and stop playing on consoles.

HOW?

Apart from the races and skills the game is sooooo bland.

Yep, I've been addicted all these years without a single mod involved.

I guess I just don't understand how anyone could play a game with that diversity solely because of gameplay.
To me games need to give me a reason to continue other than gameplay.

I never felt there wasn't enough things for me to do. There was always some new mission for me to go on or plot point to uncover.

That's all well and good but, the problem with Skyrim I had was that my character found themselves asking: "Why should I care?" I played the game for two days and haven't touched it since due to this.

Imagination has helped fuel my Skyrim experience since 2011.

My imagination is better assisted by an interesting setting or premise: Deus Ex, CyberPunk 2020, Dragon Age: Origins.
