I know it's against popular opinion but I really enjoy Quantum of Solace. But yeah, Casino Royale is aces!

Quantum might've been an OK film if it paused for breath once in a while. The rare occasions it actually slows down for a moment are easily the best bits in the movie, but they're few and far between and thirty seconds later you're thrown back into another generic, incomprehensibly-edited action scene.

It's not awful, but it annoys me because it feels like it could've been so much better with not much effort.

Even with its problems, I still like Quantum more than Spectre.

I'd agree if not for Bautista. He was great in SPECTRE and the fight with him on the train was the one time the film got really exciting.

As it is I find both films decidedly disappointing.

Hopefully Craig's sticking to the pattern of good-bad-good-bad and No Time to Die will be a good'un.

I absolutely love Casino Royale to pieces as much as I like some of the Alien films I'd say honestly, and I have always had a soft spot for Quantum Of Solace if only for my teenage crush Olga Kurylenko, and Skyfall's reputation speaks for itself.

Seeing the new one tomorrow actually, and this was my first time watching Spectre tonight also, pretty naff but enjoyable not unbearably awful but it weirdly feels like it's setting up something, it wants to be an unearned culmination but also somehow feels directionless so I'm glad I'm seeing No Time To Die nearly immediately afterwards.

Yeah, a big mess indeed. I'll personally take Quantum over Spectre any day of the week.
