The Fall of the Roman Empire

This was  a pretty good historical epic, but it spent way too much time on the characters faffing about in the snow somewhere up north and the romantic subplot was pretty cringeworthy. Also, I don't what happened between Ben-Hur and this movie, but Stephen Boyd is terrible here.

Harrison Ford was melting.

I love that film so much. Of course, the book was even better when I read it, after seeing the film but still. Great film.

Honestly, I've made worse impulse purchases.

Ender's Game was pretty decent. I've watched it twice now and for someone who hasn't read the book, it's not bad at all.

Everyone looked like they were sweaty and melting. Gavin Hood must have had the heat cranked all the way up.
