I know a few Alien purist (where is xhanoid these days?) but most everybody I've run across likes the original trilogy fairly well, and the first two films especially well.

I like it. Even though I think it isn't in the same class as the original film. Still, a very worthy follow-up to ALIEN.

I love the trilogy, and I love the first two movies equally and IMO both films are excellent in their own style and respective sub genre. Anyway, my doubts begin with the third movie. Even so it is a good Alien moviie. But all that came after is a mixed bag. Including the fever dream that are the prequels.

Loved it then, love it now, watched it more times than I care to remember. A great end to the series...
