Hopefully the fx budget increased with all the stars turning down the project. Or maybe that decreased the fx budget lol.

It's not so easily boiled down like that. Ben Affleck would've brought MORE asses in seats and thus would be paid proportionally.

The problem is that Predator isn't seen as a cool property. Hopefully this movie is the turning point.

150 million is too risky. I say $50-100 million makes sense since the movie is likely going to be rated R. Logan had a 100 million budget and it was very success with a R rating.
