Considering how the trilobite took down the engineer at the end of Prometheus I'd say the aliens wouldn't be pets to these guys. From what we see in Prommy they can't control these things.

I wonder if he means they also transcended biological function? Like do they genetically engineer each new generation etc.

Riddles has said the Engineers have progressed beyond gender, so the whole thnig is moot anyway.

I like that concept actually even if it lacks some common sense to it and will definetly piss off majority of fans.

Like that one ! I think it would be cool to see something like this in Daniels' cryo-sleep nightmare in potential third prequel.

Also, IIRC something similair was introduced in last of Rage War trilogy books.

Maybe David told him the truth, that he is his father. So, instead of making a temper tantrum like Luke in Empire Strike Back, the Alien has chosen to ignore what David says as if he was hearing nonsense from an crazy old man. He has preferred to stay classy until the end by saying: "Bring me the tea, David."
