Editing files to play in multiplayer

I edited the MP Runner file in the attributes folder and now i want to play multi against my brother upstairs. I made the runneer faster and deadlier, increasin hp and attack. When i go to run it, its the default speeds and health. Is there anyway so i can edit the files and play a LAN game with them?

if you change any butes, people who want play with you must to have this "modification" of your game, but if you have change the original avp2 source on the rez file, you are lost and can re-install the game
