i think that's because they put a lot of effort into the film regardless they were in it or not.

That generally falls into the realm of 'stiff shit' unfortunately.

Holly De Jong, Jay Benedict, Chris Henn, Mac Macdonald and Bill Armstrong didn't get credited for Aliens after their scenes were cut.

Did they have whole scenes, or where they shafted during production? Curtis and Kendra characters were filmed for something intended to be in the film.
