FIRST FAIL:
In Aliens: Special Edition when speaking to Burke, Ripley refers to her daughter as "Amy", NOT Amanda.
2ND FAIL:
Ripley promised her daughter she'd be home for her 11th birthday. Obviously this was important to Amanda. So WHY was this not acknowledged in Ripley's private message to Amanda in the game??!!! Ripley just says, "I'm sure I'll see you real soon." What she should have said was, "I hope I can still make your birthday". This would have been a great way to connect the game to the film even more.
3RD FAIL:
PLUS in Alien , Ripley optimistically says in the final scene, "with a little luck, the network will pick me up." She had no doubt she would be saved and yet in her message to Amanda in the game she sounds emotional like she's worried she'll never see her again.
