Just booked by ticket in the UK on Friday 12th May at 20:40!!!

Have people got their tickets and if so will anyone see it before the 12th?

Just thought it'd be interesting to get an idea of how many and when people will see it.

Yea I'm in the same boat as you are.  I'm not going to be seeing it until May 19th (3:40pm showing, to be exact)... so I will most likely be avoiding this site as well as the Youtube channels I like to keep up on (Mr H, Alien Theorist, etc).  I'd love to see it earlier... but I have to work so the 3:40pm showing is the earliest I can see it. 

Thankfully I have a boss who is really awesome and is letting me duck out of work an hour early that day just to make sure I have plenty of time to get to the theater.  =)

Same here and I would probably push that date up avoiding forums and any spoiler sites to 2 weeks before you see it because that is when review embargo is lifted. I had no self control with Prometheus and went in knowing every scene. Not again...

I got lucky with Prometheus and managed to avoid most of the spoiler stuff (knock on wood)... but that was a different time and place for me.  I'll likely hang out here until Hicks posts his (hopefully) spoiler-free review/thoughts after seeing the UK premiere and then I'll be going into isolation mode when it comes to Alien-related media and contact.  It'll be hard, as I love hanging out here... but I don't have a very high opinion when it comes to people's ability to keep spoiler-related content inside of spoiler tags.  Better safe than sorry, ya know?
