If these casting rumors are true, then Jamie Bamber, Mark Pellegrino and Stuart Townsend are the three people in talks to play Rick.

I really would like to see Mark Pellegrino as Rick. He was great in Dexter.

There's been some news developments lately, and here they are.

First, AMC has ordered six episodes of the show, and the pilot hasn't even begun filming. This gives great promise.

Second, Jon Bernthal has been cast as the Shane character, best friend and partner of Rick.

And lastly, rumor has it that Jonny Lee Miller is in lead talks to play Rick himself.
