That might explain it, I relied much less on lockers on my hard run than on my normal one. I played the game 2x on hard and normal and have done a basic play through of all survivor maps (no optional objectives completed), but for some reason I still haven't got my 100 kills by Alien trophy.

Huh, it never did that to me on hard; the Alien always patrolled the areas equally, it never seemed to have an advantage knowing where I was.
Quote from: Xenoscream on Dec 10, 2014, 09:35:09 AMIt did this to me on Hard mode in the campaign, it always knew where I was and would patrol in and around the room until I either waited for ages for it to go away for made a break for it. One tactic I learned was to just keep moving (walking obvs) and often it will be one step behind you when it comes out of the vents.

I finally got the time to give the DLC a playthrough and I have to say these Survivor levels and a LOT harder than the main campaign. Hell, every time I got on a level with the Alien, it always seems to know where I am. I think the developers may have tipped the new levels in favor of the Alien; when an Alien repeatedly returns to the room you happen to be in on multiple plays and never seems to go anywhere else, things start looking suspicious.

Indeed. Was pretty pleased with a 50% off.
