In a couple of the trailers the long shot of the covenant shows what appears to be a neighboring heavenly object near the planet the crew are heading for.
In the top left it looks like either another closeby planet or a moon, and far off in the distance the star that warms them both.
I wonder if that neighboring object figures much in the movie or if it just makes a brief appearance and that is all we get.
