It appears Shane Black’s The Predator is heading back to Vancouver in March for three weeks of additional shooting. A production list that was published on The Director’s Guild of Canada website cites many movies and TV Shows – one of which is “Ollie” which is of course the production name of The Predator. The crew will be heading back to Vancouver, British Columbia to do reshoots between March 12th and March 29th.

Hopefully, the filmmakers have taken on board any criticism that cropped up in the test screenings a few months ago. Not sure where this leaves The Predator trailer which was rumoured to be released some time this month. For comparison sake, both the initial trailers for Predators and AvP were released in March and they were both Summer movies. I don’t think we have much longer to wait. The Predator is still slated for release on August 3, 2018 in both the US and the UK.

The green light/glow is obscured by the tree. You wouldn't get that w/lens flare.

Thanks - I think it matches the Predators pretty well. If we take the most recent novels into account (the ships are designed by each individual Predator), then some variation between the looks would be expected. I didn't read the script either

Nice - do you remember what thread they were in? Have to say, I'm digging the whole ocean-y vibe that's being added to the franchise. I never equated the Predators with ocean life/water dwellers, but I can kind of see it...
Yeah, man. They looked good from what I can remember. I like that they looked a bit 'battered'. Almost 'charred'.
I'm certain I remember the ship being described as a massive, black nautilus in a script leak, though. (I may be wrong/be imagining this). But the idea of a giant mollusc-y, squidy, space shrimp thing is eerie, IMO.
We got a few pics of the ship interior a while back that were pretty sweet in case you missed them. I'm also hoping for a glimpse of the ship on set but only if someone involved with the film shows us. I don't like leaked blurry set pics from random people in the area
