Parodies Pack (48MB)
Contains most of the clips detailed below.

South Park – Imaginationland Episode II (2008)
Season 11, Episode 11
This is another parody involving Butters. Butters finds himself in Imaginationland just as these imaginary creatures are invading including horror movie characters Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees. The Mayor, is killed by a Xenomorph and then Butters runs into the Predator.

Stargate Atlantis – Vengeance (2007)
Season 3, Episode 19

The Atlantis team investigates the disappearance of one of their allies, only to find an old enemy engineering a race of powerful monsters. The team explore an underground complex and encounter some large creatures. This Stargate Atlantis episode borrows a few things from “Alien”. Firstly, the creatures look a little similar to the ones in the movies and the character, Lt. Colonel John Sheppard, even compared the creatures to the one in “Alien” because it used the airshafts to get around in the ship.

Family Guy – You May Now Kiss the…Uh…Guy Who Receives (2006)
Season 4, Episode 25

In one of cutaways in the episode of Family Guy entitled “You May Now Kiss the…Uh…Guy Who Receives”, there’s a clip of a doctor taking a blood sample from somebody. Instead of blood, it’s acid and it burns through the floor just like in Alien. Then a monster bursts out of the guys chest which the doctor kills with a shotgun.

Family Guy – 8 Simple Rules for Buying My Teenage Daughter (2005)
Season 4, Episode 8

In one of cutaways in the episode of Family Guy entitled “8 Simple Rules for Buying My Teenage Daughter”, a clip of a (fictional) movie called Kramer vs. Predator was shown. It showed Dustin Hoffman’s Kramer from Kramer vs. Kramer telling the Predator it could not have custody. The Predator responded by shooting Kramer in the face with its shoulder cannon.

Niknaks Advert (2004)
This Niknaks advertisement first aired in the UK in August 2004. Some people are on a cruise ship talking and one guy eats some Nik-Naks, starts convulsing and a giant Nik-Nak bursts out of him. Then the group, who happen to look like the cast of Alien start dancing. It’s a parody of the chestburster scene in “Alien”.

The ChubbChubbs! (2002)
This was an animated short made in 2002 by Sony Pictures Imageworks. There is a very short cameo appearance from the alien when they are in the bar at the beginning.

Invader Zime (2002)
Season 1, Episode 18
In this episode the school is under attack by group of Lice. The Queen Lice which is sitting in the same position as the first sight of the Queen in Aliens and possesses some of Xenomorph’s queen trade marks such as creating eggs with her tail. Also in the episode that Ms. Bitters is about to shoot the Zim gun and says “close your eyes baby” just like when Ripley was holding Newt and the platform was busting while the queen was coming outta the elevator in Aliens.

South Park – Butter’s Very Own Episode (2001)
Season 5, Episode 14

Butters gets his very own episode and he encounters a Predator in the forest on his way back to South Park. He hears some strange noises and suddenly three red dots appear on his head. He looks into the forest and the camera switches to the Predator’s point-of-view. Butters then carries on walking. Unfortunately we don’t get to see the Predator.

X-Files – Detour (1997)
Season 5, Episode 4

On the way to an FBI convention, Mulder and Scully take a trip through the woods, where an ancient monster lurks. This whole episode is pretty much based on “Predator”. The creature in the woods is invisible and even has glowing eyes.

Freakazoid! – Nerdator (1996)
Season 1, Episode 11

This is a parody of the Predator. When all the nerds and geeks in the world get kidnapped, Freakazoid investigates the issue in order to find out what is going on. He soon learns that the “Nerdator” is behind the kidnappings and that he wants to steal the knowledge of all the world’s nerds in order to become a super-genius, though Freakazoid believes he may just know of a way to scare him away from his evil scheme.

The Simpsons – Sweet Seymour Skinner’s Baadasssss Song (1994)
Season 5, Episode 19

This is a very funny parody. Bart brings his dog, Santa’s Little Helper, to school and the dog wonders into the air ducts. Groundskeeper Willie has to go in there and track it down through the school’s airducts. It cuts to Principal Skinner looking at a motion tracking monitor and one dot is getting closer to the other. This whole scene was a direct parody of the sequence in “Alien” where Dallas goes into the air vents and the rest of the crew are watching on the motion detector.

The Simpsons – Deep Space Homer (1994)
Season 5, Episode 15

In this episode of The Simpsons, there’s a sketch in the cartoon Itchy & Scratchy where they are in space. Itchy suddenly bursts out of Scratchy’s stomach, which is a parody of the chestburster emerging from Kane in “Alien”. Scratchy then gets sucked out into space where Itchy cuts him in half, then he takes Scratchy’s helmet off and his head explodes.

Animaniacs: Space Probed/Battle for the Planet (1993)
Season 1, Episode 15

In the first episode, Space Probed, the Animaniacs get abducted by aliens. The scene in “Alien” where the creature makes its first appearance is spoofed here. Dot is on the spaceship exploring and the alien drops down down some chains behind her. It’s exactly the same design as seen in the “Alien” movie. She then brings out her pet, this giant red Bull Dog creature and they alien and dog ‘fall in love’ and walk off.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 (1993)
Season 4, Episode 24
In the episode review of Manos: Hands of Fate during the first intermission Joel, Tom, and Crow are pretending to be pulled over by the police. Tom starts yelling “This is a bughunt man! A bughunt!” and Crow said Game over man! Game over!”

The Simpsons – Bart’s Dog Gets An F (1991)
Season 2, Episode 16

There are some scenes in this episode that feature point-of-view shots from the Simpsons’ dog, Santa’s Little Helper. When he goes around the house looking for things to destroy, it switches to his vision with some eery music. According to IMDB and TV.com, this was supposed to be a parody of Predator though I don’t really see the connection. When the music came on, it reminded me more of the Friday The 13th series with Jason.

Spaceballs (1987) (YouTube)
When the main characters come across a diner, another character, played by John Hurt, asks for The Special. It’s a parody of the Chestburster scene in Alien.
