Aliens: Colonial Marines Video Appeal

Gearbox Software will shed some light on the recent online petition that is requesting female characters to be included in the multiplayer aspect of Aliens: Colonial Marines this Sunday at their PAX Prime panel. In the meantime, you can watch a new video below featuring Trevor Steedman, who played Wierzbowski in ALIENS, appealing for support for said petition:

    This matches with what I was told. Minus the bit about Brian Burleson which I never heard before. Nice to see them talk about it openly.

    I hope you can write swears on you're gear, I wanna have Bad Motherf***er written on my chest! :laugh: It would be cool too if you chose or make a symbol to put on your gear like the skull Hudson has on his armour!

    Thanks!

    While that is extremely great news, I hope that isn't all the news regarding this that will be revealed today!

    Still hoping for a completely customizable experience for both Males and Females, Like Head (and maybe hair!), Skin, Body (Slim/thicker) Armour customization, etc... in the COMPETITIVE multiplayer!

    Goddamn. I just checked it. Almost 4000. Good for u sister. Metroid & Alien have been my series of choice ever since I was little, so I fully understand the importance of strong, unsexualized female portrayals. Good to see someone getting something done in such a big way.

    Just saw the Steedman video, Moosh. It's blowing me away how much support you've been able to get for this petition. It's really an inspiring thing. You're one of the best people on this forum, for sure. :)

    in the multiplayer the female playable character could be implemented anytime, im not sure about the storyline, even more if the main character has dialogues in it...
